Nursing

One of the amazing things about chimpanzees is that nursing doesn't slow mothers down all that much. Often, mothers will sit quietly and groom their babies while they are nursing. However, just as often, mothers with be traveling, eating, termite-fishing, or grooming another chimp while their baby is nursing.

You are getting hungry but one of your children wants to play. Would you rather gather your children together and find some food or play with your child?
