Termite Fishing

The Gombe chimpanzees use long flexible strips of bark, twig or grass to fish for termites. They insert the tool into a hole in the termite mound, the soldier termites bite the stem and the chimpanzee withdraws the tool slowly and eats the termites off the stem.
