All images that are critical to illustrating a concept or are a part of the naviagational scheme have an alternative text description.

Tabbing order goes through all navigational items first, then on to key content links within the page.


Where possible, video tracks with narration have captioning or a link to a transcript is provided. However, sincecChimpanzee behavior is non-vocal, and many of the videos do not have voice-over interpretation, many of the videos do not have transcripts. Short summaries of each video's content is provided.

Animations and interactives do not have accessibility alternatives, howevver, the information contained in them is not essential to the understanding or enjoyment of the site.
